Hi all and this latest addition to this breakdown series on the most overrated movies of all time, we look at one of the supposed great love stories that have been released within our generation, that's right I'm referring to The Notebook.
With the numerous amount of love stories that are thrust towards us as an audience it was natural that one or two received a cult following. This happened with The Notebook and while I'm sure many people would disagree with me, there are far more deserving films that should have received the same attention. While indeed this film certainly has an adequate storyline unlike our last candidate for this series, it still does not seem be worth the praise with which it has obtained. Whether this is due to beautiful cast that includes Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling or perhaps the story itself speaks to some people but it just does not hit the mark for me as an audience member.
That's it for Part 2, stay posted for Part 3 and TTFN :)
